This lunar secuence I shot took place from 11:54 PM on April 14th until 3:30 AM of April 15th of 2014. Definitely was worth the wait. As the eclipse began, the Earth’s shadow first darkens the moon slightly, covering it all little by little. Once the shadow “covers” part of the moon, it began turning it a dark red-brown color. You could see a brighter red as the moon revealed a bit of light.
